"Without question, I
knew from the first visit that Little Sunshine House was the place for
my son. As a public school teacher and advocate of the play based
approach in early childhood development, I respect and appreciate the
constant changes and adjustments the teachers make to provide learning
opportunities based on the children's interest and curiosities. In the

At Little Sunshine House
CDC we are here to provide the best care and early education for young
children. We draw inspiration from the Reggio approach, as well
as, from current research.
Our curriculum develops around the interest of the children. In this way we can
provide opportunities for learning that are meaningful. It is our desire
to provide a balance of intellectual stimulation, emotional support and
physical nurturance for your child.
While it may look like ‘play’ it is our philosophy that experimentation,
exploration and questioning are the natural mode of learning for the young
